The commentators on MSNBC think that if you’re a Trump supporter, you’re a terrorist. I can’t make this stuff up. They said that. It looks like the Democratic operatives with bylines don’t like to be held accountable for pitching their opinions as “news.” MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS made up the term “fake news” to try to bolster their brands. They are pointing fingers at outlets like Breitbart and the Daily Caller, and they’re not happy because their little made-up term came back to bite them since they’re the ones who are lying about “news.”
Here’s the exchange on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
The media has made their own bed; they soiled it, and they’re upset that people are pointing out that their sheets smell. How bad is the media? Well, according to Gallup about 20% of people have confidence in them. That’s an all-time low. Compare that to 56% of Americans who have confidence in their local police, 36% who have confidence in the presidency, and 55% who have confidence in Donald Trump. Joe, you created the problem quit trying to pass off the blame.
Reporters from all branches of the media are screaming from the rooftops about Donald Trump’s “language” and his use of Twitter. To deflect just what a lousy job they’re doing, media outlets like MSNBC are comparing Trump supporters to the people who blew up the FBI office in Oklahoma City.
Think about that for a minute. When was the last time the so-called right wing committed any violence? The guys who blew up the FBI office in Oklahoma City were not politically motivated; they were conspiracy theory freaks who were fundamentally anarchists.
You remember the constant threat of riots after Barack Obama was elected, right? Remember how people took to the streets after the 2012 election demanding that Mitt Romney be inaugurated and that Barack Obama’s election was a fake? Cops were working overtime just to try to keep the peace.
Yeah! Power to the people!
And then we got the peaceful folks on the left who’ve been peacefully making their point about the November election.
For the folks in the media who think Donald Trump is, as Morning Joe said, “very, very dangerous,” and Trump supporters are going to be making the blood of the media running the streets, I don’t think you understand the meaning of the word “dangerous.”
My favorite part of that whole video sequence was Mike Barnicle, who is considered a far left nutcase even in Massachusetts, having the audacity to say “the media, my view is that, we need no defense.” In other words, “listen up bumpkins will tell you what to believe.”
Thanks Mike, but you can go to h*ll.
