Just as Mike Pence Leaves the Stage, Pro-Life Crowd Puts Women’s March To Shame: [VIDEO]

Donald Trump’s Vice President, Mike Pence, is the highest-ranking official in any administration to address the March for Life. His appearance, in person, to speak at the largest pro-life event in the world signals a major change in how America looks at issues of life and abortion.

This is the first time that Pence, the former Governor of Indiana, has spoken at the event but his wife Karen pointed out that they have attended it numerous times in the 16 years since Pence was first elected to Congress.

In addition to Vice President Pence, Donald Trump’s campaign manager and top White House aide, Kellyanne Conway also spoke in person.

Pence said that the Trump administration is committed to is restoring the truth enshrined in the Declaration of Independence that all are endowed with the “right to life.” He reported, probably I’m sure, that life is once again a priority in America and that Donald Trump, in one of his first executive actions, reinstated Ronald Reagan’s “Mexico City policy,” which bars federal funds from being used to promote or perform abortions overseas.

Reagan’s “Mexico City policy” is the one issue that draws a stark line between Democrats and Republicans. In one of his first acts as president, Bill Clinton reversed the policy. In one of his first acts, George W. Bush reinstated the Mexico City policy. Barack Obama again stood on the side of abortion when he assumed the presidency in 2009. And now Donald Trump stands firmly in favor of the right to life and stands shoulder to shoulder with Ronald Reagan in his commitment against abortion.

In fact, Donald Trump may be able to accomplish more in the fight against the murder of the unborn than Reagan or anyone else in the 44 years since Roe v Wade. Trump has a Republican Congress that professes to be pro-life. The House and the Senate passed measures during the Obama presidency that blocked all federal funds from abortion providers like Planned Parenthood. Obama vetoed them. Compare what Vice President Pence had to say with this speech from former president Obama (I never tire of saying that, former President Obama.)

The man who sat through his own pastor repeatedly saying “God damn America” and who would ask God to bless an organization that has butchered millions upon millions of unborn children is gone. Thankfully, he’s been replaced by a man and an administration that worship God and that believe in the sanctity of life.
