President Trump Stops Obama’s $221 Million Gift to the Palestinian Terrorists [VIDEO]
On their way out the door last Friday Barack Obama and John Kerry bestowed a $221 million gift to the “Palestinian” terrorists in Gaza and the West Bank. Donald Trump put a halt to that on Tuesday.
Last Friday, in his last act as Secretary of State, Herman Munster – on behalf of President Obama – released $221 million that had been appropriated by Congress but put on hold by two GOP lawmakers.
Congress initially approved them the money along with an additional $355 million that the U.S. agency had for international development sent to the terrorists in Gaza in 2015.
The funds were put on hold by the Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Ed Royce, and Kay Granger who sits on the House Appropriations Committee because of actions by the “Palestinian Authority.” The “Palestinian Authority” is the ruling party in Gaza and they are the political arm of the Hamas terrorist organization.
As any rational human – which leaves out Herman Munster and Barack Obama – could figure out they use the money in support of terrorism. Royce and Granger allege that the “Palestinians” unilateral attempts at statehood, corruption, incitement of violence, and paying people in prison for terrorist acts violated agreements and they blocked the release of that $221 million.
As one might expect, Barack Obama ignored the block. Here’s Mark Levin with commentary on Obama’s move.
The money was appropriated by Congress to fund “humanitarian aid” in the West Bank and Gaza supposedly to support political and security reforms and help prepare for good governance and the rule of law in a future “Palestinian” state.
Anyone who believes that the terrorists who run the West Bank and Gaza are interested in any kind of reforms that don’t include the eradication of Israel is a fool. That pretty well describes both Herman Munster and Barack Obama.
The Trump administration will have the State Department review the $221 million gift to the terrorists and make sure it “comports with the Trump administration’s priorities.” I’m pretty sure it won’t, given that Trump is already put the United Nations on notice that the U.S. is going to withdraw funding from any agency or operation that funds “the Palestinians.”
It’s a new day in America. Thank God.
