Elderly Man Plunges Toward A Mother Of 2 During Airport Shooting, Whispers 4 Shocking Words To Her

An old man from Rochester, New York, found himself in the middle of the shooting at the Fort Lauderdale airport on Friday. You would normally think of an old guy as cute cuddly, sweet, and above all feeble. But, this guy…let’s just say he did something amazing that everyone should know about.

He was the ultimate gentleman, while bullets could be heard flying every which way this hero saw a mother of two and turned himself into a human shield to protect her from gunfire.

70-year-old Tony Bartosiewicz just so happened to be near Annika Dean, a Florida school teacher, when the shooting erupted. Dean said that the gunman closed in on the little area where she was, instinctively got on the ground for cover.

“There was no way I could have escaped,” she stated… “I would have been right in his path if I had tried to evacuate through the doors.”

After the police arrived at the scene and the gunman had been detained, she and Bartosiewicz got up from the floor, unharmed.

“The first thing I said to him was I thanked him and told him that it was terrifying and what he did brought me comfort, that it was just so comforting,” she said. “I thanked him throughout the day and told him he was a hero.”

Reporters tried to reach Bartosiewicz but couldn’t immediately find his location. However, reporters did find his daughter who said that was just the kind of man her father was.

“He would do something like this without thinking,” she told local news reports.

People’s true character comes out in times like this, what a hero!
