“Post-election Grief” Now a Thing and Officially Involves Muffins [VIDEO]

I remember in 2008 and 2012 after Barack Obama’s election and reelection how the suicide rate among conservatives skyrocketed. Therapists were overwhelmed with new patients who couldn’t deal with Obama’s election. And don’t forget the street riots in 2012 where Republicans burned cars and trash businesses. As a matter of fact, here’s a picture of one city being burned down by violent gun nuts who supported Mitt Romney.

Oh wait, none of that happened. But guess what, it’s happening now.

Harvard Medical School psychotherapist is recommending that people suffering from “postelection grief” should bake muffins in the sanctuary of their kitchen. She even offers a “Hillary muffin” recipe.

Publishers Weekly reports that at least three major book publishers are rushing out “serious” books to help the left cope with Donald Trump’s victory. How about “What We Do Now: Standing up for Your Values in Trump’s America.” Yep.

“Postelection Grief.” How Real Is It? Well, It’s pretty real to to “people” like this.

There you go, the perfect Hillary voter. Can’t you feel the “care” seeping through the screen of your monitor? By the way, I’m thinking about offering a prize for anyone who got past the two minute mark of that video. I’m thinking maybe a new straitjacket.

The really scary thing is, that idiot is not unusual. One of the people I work with told me about a friend who was planning on moving to Canada if Trump got elected. After the election I asked if the guy had booked a flight yet. He’s apparently not speaking to me anymore.

Muffins and puppies and kittens and YouTube videos that make you feel all warm and fuzz. Democrats. Disgusting.y

And the icing on the cake is the fact that the left now has to deal with the fact that the one group of people probably most responsible for the resounding defeat of Hillary Clinton is evangelical Christians. This year they turned out and voted for Trump by an 80 – 15 margin.

I’m having a hard time remembering when I had this much fun.
