Obama ‘Hopeful’ Trump Will Not Prosecute Hillary: Here’s Why!

One of the big questions were facing with the election of Donald Trump is, will Barack Obama pardon Hillary Clinton? Right now there’s no clear direction coming from the White House on this, at this point the White House is just pandering saying that Donald Trump shouldn’t prosecute Hillary.

[W]e’ve got a long tradition in this country of people in power not using the criminal justice system to exact political revenge. In fact, we go to great lengths to insulate our criminal justice system from partisan politics.

That was Josh Earnest, White House spokesman, doing his best to deflect the fact that if Hillary is prosecuted it won’t be for “revenge” it will be because she’s a criminal. He went to great lengths to avoid saying that President Obama is considering pardoning her.

Democrats are so desperate that they’re comparing a potential pardon for Hillary Clinton to Dick Cheney requesting a pardon for Scooter Libby who was given to find a prison sentence for something that Colin Powell did. Bush commuted his sentence but left the fine in place and Libby still had to serve two years probation.

There’s a difference – a huge difference – between Scooter Libby and Hillary Clinton. Scooter Libby was an innocent man who ended up at the point of a political prosecution, Hillary Clinton is clearly a felon with regard to her treatment of classified data.

I think Obama certainly wants to pardon her because if a special prosecutor digs into Clinton’s email felonies he will most likely find Barack Obama’s fingerprints. Listen to Judge Napolitano and Stuart Varney and.

In other words, Obama clearly knew that Clinton was running her classified email through private server and he could be charged as well.

Right now I’d say, look for a pardon. Not for Hillary, but to keep a special prosecutor away from Barack Obama.
