I’ll bet you think #BlackLivesMatter is pushing that agenda, stopping background checks so more minorities can get hired as cops. Well, they may be, but it’s more important that Loretta Lynch of the Department of Justice, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Barack Obama’s thoroughly racist administration are the ones who are really on the case.
The administration released a report yesterday examining hiring, recruitment, and retention policies in law enforcement. Their goal? Diversity.
The report was simply shocking. It seems that they “found that African-American, Latino, and Asian American police officers were underrepresented relative to the local area population in a significant number of departments analyzed.”
My first guess for this tragedy would’ve been global warming. It turns out, it’s not.
It’s [scary music]criminal background checks. Who could’ve guessed? Criminal background checks are “likely to disproportionately impact racial minority applicants since, for a variety of reasons, individuals from those communities are more likely to have contact with the criminal justice system.”
In other words Black males – approximately 6% of the population – who commit over 50% of murders and violent crime have trouble passing background checks. I’m shocked.
In addition, “research has shown that physical tests may have a significant and unnecessary impact on female applicants when they lack a corresponding benefit or job-related need.”
In other words, women don’t have the same upper body strength as men so they can’t pass a physical.
The Obama administration has spent the last seven years working daily to destroy the U.S. military by lowering standards on everything, from physical requirements to morality. Looks like they’re about to do the same thing to law enforcement.
Personally, I’m buying precious metals for Christmas. Brass and lead.
