Rob Lowe took to Twitter to throw some common sense into Colin Kaepernick’s decision to sit during the national anthem to protest national anthem!
Kaepernick’ says he has a serious problem with a “flag for a country that oppresses black people”!
Rob Lowe says stay in the locker room and don’t mess up everyone else’s tribute to a “flag that stands for unprecedented freedom for everyone!”
“Dear @NFL Any player wants to boycott the anthem on 9/11 should be asked to remain in the locker room until kick off. It’s not their moment.” Lowe Tweets!
I am all for the right and freedom to protest! I would stand by Kaepernick to the death to fight for his right to protest! It is a foundational principle in this country.
But so is respect! So is working and not messing around when you are on someone else’s clock!
So go protest all you want Colin Kaepernick!
He does not know what a protest is! He pushes the button in the elevator and waits for candy to come out! Kaepernick’ is lazy!
A protest does not last 2 minutes! A protest is hard work! A protest takes time and effort!
This is a protest: (I bet Kaepernick is not to worried about country that oppresses the unborn!)
Or this is a protest:
Or even this is a protest:
What you have been doing Kaepernick is called a video clip! A few seconds of an attention getting lazy act, to get your 15 minutes of fame because you aren’t even real good at football!
You lazy ass Kaepernick! You do your couple minutes of your so-called protest and then go back to living your uptown lifestyle! If you are really as adamant as you want us to believe, get out and do some hard work and stand on your feet in the heat for hours chanting your protest and carrying a sign!
Kaepernick, you and your little lazy act is doing nothing but hurting the very thing that has provided you with a lifestyle you would have NEVER had in ANY OTHER COUNTRY!
I think Rob Lowe is right! You do not have the right to protest while you are on payroll! You are an employee at work on that field. They need to tell you to take your faux attempt at your lazy act and keep it in the locker room. AFTER the game, go do some real work and protest right! Not this half-baked immature little tantrum you keep doing that no one wants to see!
Dear @NFL Any player wants to boycott the anthem on 9/11 should be asked to remain in the locker room until kick off. It's not their moment.
