The KKK threatened to disrupt a Black Lives Matter rally in the Hamptons this weekend but they were a no show…and are claiming that they attended “Incognito”!
Talk about the blind leading the blind, while mainstream America went on their business, two polar fringe nutcase hate groups had a war of words.
The KKK claims it has around 2,500 members on Long Island and had put the word out that they would disrupt a Black Lives Matter rally Sunday in Westhampton Beach.
When there were no hooded people to be seen, Black Lives Matter called them cowards.
It might be pointed out that the Black Lives Matter crowd was not really that big either. The whole thing was a flop. Black Lives Matter leaders got excited at the “large turnout” anyway.
It did seem to be a fun affair as some girls played guitars and sang peaceful songs by John Lennon and other peace musicians.
BLM is known for it’s disruptions to society. They have spawned a series of law enforcement shootings and have had a series of other incidents that go far past the concept of peaceful protest. The KKK has it’s sordid history as well. They both claim innocence!
Neither are innocent. Both blame and both deny and lie!
Black Lives Matter leader DeRay McKesson is a firm believer that looting is a legitimate form of protest.
He gave a two-day lecture at Yale University about the Black Lives Matter movement where he read an article entitled, “In Defense of Looting”.
It claims: The mystifying ideological claim that looting is violent and non-political is one that has been carefully produced by the ruling class because it is precisely the violent maintenance of property which is both the basis and end of their power. Looting is extremely dangerous to the rich (and most white people) because it reveals, with an immediacy that has to be moralized away, that the idea of private property is just that: an idea, a tenuous and contingent structure of consent, backed up by the lethal force of the state. When rioters take territory and loot, they are revealing precisely how, in a space without cops, property relations can be destroyed and things can be had for free.
Of course, we well know the atrocious history of the KKK.
All I am saying, is give peace a chance! But really folks, these two fringe hate groups will always have the right to peaceful protest, and I will stand by them for that right to the death.
But when it goes past that, which it often times does, they need to be arrested and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
