Ella Clarke went in to the hospital to have a baby via C-Section and came out a double amputee in the UK.
A spokesman for the hospital said “We would like to offer our sympathy to Ms. C.”
Of course the UK had ObamaCare before ObamaCare was cool.
The Torquay Herald Express reports:
The mother-of-eight, who was having her sixth C-section, had just spent five days in an induced coma after losing six litres of blood due to a dangerous complication called placenta accreta – which can be common with women who have had c-sections in the past.
Doctors performed an emergency hysterectomy and five blood transfusions – which in almost all cases of placenta accreta is required to save the mother’s life.
Ella, from Torquay, was placed into an induced coma and transferred to intensive care where doctors had to monitor her hourly for the next 24 hours as she was prone to clotting.
But it is claimed doctors forgot to check her and six hours had passed before she was seen.
By this point, Ella’s legs had clotted and circulation had stopped. She was immediately rushed into theatre where two surgeons battled to recover circulation in both her legs – but it was too late.
How in the world does such a thing happen? Well it happens when government gets involved and tries to micromanage!
You can expect items like this to happen here in the USA as ObamaCare continues to create havoc in our hospitals as well.
When you stop letting Doctors, just be Doctors, and continue to give them outside protocols that have nothing whatsoever to do with “Doctoring”, you create an atmosphere where mistakes will happen more frequently!
This is not an isolated incident. It happens often in socialized medicine and is already happening via ObamaCare. Frank Alfisi was killed by Obamacare.
The Federal Government Cannot Micromanage. It has to be repealed and we MUST go back to letting Doctors do what they do best, be Doctors. When we don’t, terrible mistakes will happen, during a common C-section and many other common procedures.
