We all remember Obama’s famous words…”If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan.” We also know neither of those things happened. If you’re like me, you got bumped multiple times from your health care plan. In addition, your premiums and deductibles are higher and your plan is not at all as comprehensive as what you had. Let’s be honest, Obama’s healthcare sucks! I’d rather have my old plan back and the government OUT of health care.
On Wednesday, Paul Ryan and the Republicans were pretty clear on Obamacare and it’s future. They were also clear that repealing and replacing Obamacare won’t happen unless we elect a Republican in November.
(CNSNews.com) – House Republicans on Wednesday will explain how they plan to repeal and replace Obamacare, even though they admit it won’t happen unless and until a Republican is elected president.
“We’re not going to repeal Obamacare when the current president of the United States is a guy named Obama,” House Speaker Paul Ryan told a news confernce Wednesday morning.
“What we’re laying out today is a first-time-in-six-years consensus by the Republicans in the House on what we replace Obamacare with. So sure, you’re going to see some ideas that we’ve long been talking about.”
Here’s Speaker Paul Ryan and a “Better Way” Agenda of the GOP:
Speaker Ryan, the realistic goal is… if you want “We The People” to buy into this “new agenda”, then it’s time to “clean house”.
We not only have to get rid of Obama, but we need to get rid of career politicians that pretend to really care about Conservatives and conservative issues, but when are backs are turned vote like they have a (D) after their name. The Establishment doesn’t care about conservatives, if they did they would have NOT passed Obamacare in the FIRST place. The real conservative values that you claim are now part of this “Better Way” agenda have ALWAYS been part of our agenda – the agenda of “We The People”.
You and others, from the GOP Establishment in the past talk a good game, but when it has come down to voting for those same principles – you have ignored those same principles that are now part of your so called “Better Way”, such as limited government, balanced budgets, less taxes, less government, and fiscal responsibility. Instead, you sided with special interest groups, lobbyists and other Democrats. So why, NOW should we believe you?
The majority of the people in America are upset with politicians and the empty rhetoric of the past. Why do you think they voted for Donald Trump for our Republican nominee for president? By the way, need I remind you, Speaker Ryan, you and others of the Establishment were not too thrilled about Donald Trump reaching the threshold of 1237 delegates. Conservatives have always wanted a “Better Way”, but unfortunately until “We The People” clean house…things will be the same old, status quo.
