Prosecutors: “It is no coincidence that this happened in Orlando”

I don’t agree with Secretary of State John Kerry on many things, but I do find his words on terrorism to be fitting when it comes to the Orlando attack and Omar Mateen. Kerry once said: “Well, if it looks like a terrorist, if it acts like a terrorist, if it walks like a terrorist, if it fights like a terrorist – it’s a terrorist.”

Omar Mateen called 911 and pledged allegiance to ISIS before he killed 50 people and injured another 53.  It seems it’s no surprise to authorities that this terrorist attack took place in Orlando, Florida based on Mateen’s friends. Who needs enemies when you have friends like Abu Taubah, otherwise known as Marcus Dwayne Robertson. Who is Marcus Dwayne Robertson?

A former U.S. Marine who became a Muslim radical, gang leader and bodyguard to the Blind Sheik behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He was so adept at turning fellow prisoners into potential extreme jihadists that Florida prison officials kept him in shackles and in solitary confinement for three years.

Marcus Dwayne Robertson, a Muslim extremist also known as Imam Abu Taubah who once led a murderous New York gang dubbed “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves” before resurfacing decades later as a radical imam at a Florida mosque, and was held at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility in Seminole County, Florida. He was imprisoned on a weapons conviction and sentenced in 2015 for a tax fraud conviction. Federal authorities locked him up and kept away from other inmates out of fear he was turning them into dangerous jihadists, as he converted a number of fellow inmates including a white supremacist.

While in the John E. Polk Correctional Facility in Seminole County, Robertson was considered so dangerous, he was kept in shackles and assigned his own guards. Whenever he was transported to court, a seven-car caravan of armed federal marshals escorted him. He was initially moved into solitary confinement after prison authorities believed he was radicalizing up to 36 of his fellow prisoners.

In seeking enhanced terrorism charges during sentencing for the two crimes, prosecutors said Robertson has been involved with terrorism activities, “…focused on training others to commit violent acts as opposed to committing them himself” … “overseas instead of inside the United States.”

Yet efforts by federal prosecutors to tack on another 10 years to his sentence, based on enhanced terrorism charges under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, were not persuasive enough for U.S. District Judge Gregory Presnell, who freed Robertson in June 2015 with time served.

Robertson has denied being involved with terrorist activities, in court and in postings on social media and in statements from his attorney to Fox News.

Robertson is a teacher of Radical Islam, first in Kansas City at the ISKC (Islamic School of K C) then in New York, where he started an “online Islamic college” called FIKS (Fundamental Islamic Knowledge Seminary). In 2009, he moved FIKS to Orlando. It seems he needed more space for his two wives and 15 children. He also needed somone like his associate, Jonathan Jimenez, to claim some of those dependents.

Omar Mateen followed FIKS. Omar Mateen was taught by Robertson to hate gays. Omar Mateen was a Muslim with terrorist ties. Again, If he walks like a terrorist, acts like a terrorist, he must be a terrorist. There is no question that Omar Mateen was a terrorist. There is also no question that Marcus Dwayne Robertson is a teacher of Radical Islamic Terrorism. Robertson is a “bottomfeeder” – he has a history of letting other lowlifes do his dirty work for him, just ask Jimenez and other FIKS students.

Robertson and several associates were rounded up for questioning early Sunday, according to law enforcement sources, a development his attorney refused to confirm or deny.

If you’re still surprised that this terrorist attack happened in Orlando, you must have your head in the sand!
