Newt Gingrich explains why Bernie Sanders hasn’t dropped out of the 2016 presidential race even though Hillary passed the delegate threshold last week.
Newt explained on “Fox & Friends” Friday that the reason Bernie isn’t dropping out is because the FBI isn’t finished with its investigation into EmailGate.
“First of all, if I were Bernie and I think this is what he’s doing, why should he drop out before the FBI drops out?” Newt said.
Newt explained that as long as the FBI is investigating, Bernie has good reason to stay around until the convention.
Newt is not the only one, Salon reported in April that Bernie Sanders will remain the true Democratic front-runner until the FBI finishes its Investigation.
Bernie Sanders is the only Democratic candidate for president not linked to an FBI investigation. This used to mean something in American politics, but those days are gone. Today, I’m viewed as delusional, by the same people who think smart politics and qualifications entail endless scandals, poor decision-making on everything from major foreign policy decisions to Wall Street speeches, and ongoing FBI investigations. In truth, the only delusion is believing that a candidate at risk of DOJ indictments, and facing political repercussions even without these indictments, would make a great president.
Hillary and her email problems just get worse and worse and there is a tipping point.
When Obama endorsed her last week, only to have his press secretary confirm that it was a “criminal investigation” an hour later is telling!
Newt is correct, Hillary has severe problems and it is far from over.
Judge Andrew Napolitano also reported in April that a “conspiracy existed” in Secretary of State Clinton’s office to avoid federal law,
“Two separate judges ordered her aides, the same people the FBI wants in the criminal case, to testify in the Freedom of Information Act case,” he said of the Clinton cases.
“That means that the two judges have already found that there was a conspiracy in the office of Secretary of State … to avoid and evade federal law.”
What does it all mean? What difference does it make? HA! HA! HA!
It does mean that this primary season is not over and it will continue to best anything “Days of our Lives” ever thought of.
If Hillary does go down, it will be hard. It will all come out. If the system protects her, I am sure she will find another scandal to get into…that has been her pattern!
