The Obama administration opened a can of worms with Texas when they issued a directive that allowed boys into the girl’s bathrooms and lockers to deal with the .03% of the transgender population.
Texas was the first to fight back and they are fighting back hard.
Dr. Rodney Cavness, the Superintendent of Port Neches-Groves in Texas, took the letter to the paper shredder and immediately spoke out!
Dr. Cavness told 12News anchor Kevin Steele:
“I got news for President Barack Obama. He ain’t my President and he can’t tell me what to do. That letter (to be released to all public schools tomorrow) is going straight to the paper shredder. I have 5 daughters myself and I have 2,500 girls in my protection. Their moms and dads expect me to protect them. And that is what I am going to do. Now I don’t want them bullied… but there are accommodations that can be made short of this. He (President Obama) is destroying the very fiber of this country. He is not a leader. He is a failure.”
It is time that ALL states follow the lead of Texas and hit back on the 10th Amendment rights.
Texas has been at the forefront of the fight against giving men carte blanche access to women’s restrooms and lockers.
Then Kent Scribner, Superintendent of the Fort Worth ISD, unilaterally decided that boys can use the girls’ bathroom in their schools.
Now this latest attempt for the federal government to declare rules that should be dealt with on a local level has upped the ante. Texas is having no part of it.
Governor Greg Abbott immediately vowed to fight the new regulations:

Texas will not take this laying down!
