The people running Target have absolutely lost their minds. They are suing a man who saved a girl that was being stabbed in their store.
The whole episode was all caught on surveillance footage in the Chattanooga, TN Target.
The footage showed Leon Walls grabbing and attacking the girl with a knife as a group of men come to help her.
One of those men, Michael Turner, chased Walls down with a baseball bat, cornering him in the entryway of the Target.
Allison Meadows, Glen’s daughter, was stabbed at a Target store in East Liberty, Penn in 2013. Surveillance footage showed Leon Walls grabbed and attacked Meadows’ daughter with a knife. A group of men came to help stop Walls from committing any further harm. One of those men was Michael Turner, who is now being sued by the chain.
“I thank him,” said Meadows, “I thank him every time I see him.”
While Meadows thanks Turner, Target blames him. Court documents say the company claims Turner chased Walls with a baseball bat into the entrance of the store, creating more danger to those inside.
Now Target is suing Turner and two other men, claiming he endangered customers. The trial is expected to being on Monday.
In Texas we have a saying: “Oh Hell No!”
I hope you go bankrupt Target for insanity on multiple levels.
Have they lost there ever lovin’ minds???!!! The patients are in charge of the asylum!! These people should be committed! I hope Michael Turner sues Target right back for billions!
Of course, this recent insanity comes on the heels of the Target bathroom insanity. Target’s new bathroom policy allowing men in women’s restrooms has already caused millions across the country to decide to boycott the retail giant.
Faith Driven Consumer, representing 41 million Americans that spend $2 trillion annually, has joined the movement.
They have announced a national “buycott” effort to encourage shoppers to chose Walmart, Academy Sports, Hobby Lobby, and seven other chains as an alternative.
Target stock has dropped rapidly over the last few weeks and as word of this new insanity continues to spread, I imagine it will be worse.
