Look What Trump Did When Told There Was No Time For National Anthem!

We all heard about Donald Trump’s rally in Anaheim, California and the left’s protests. One thing you probably didn’t hear from the press was Trump’s simple patriotic gesture right before his speech. But then again, why would the press want you to see something good or patriotic, afterall, they haven’t seen much patriotism during the entire Obama administration and probably have forgotten what it looks like.

Billionaire businessman and presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump held a rally in Anaheim, California, Wednesday afternoon, and like most of his rallies, it was a packed house.

Perhaps because of the size of the crowd, not to mention the disruptive protesters both inside and out of the venue, the rally got off to a late start.

When Trump finally took the stage, instead of diving right in to his standard stream-of-conscious stump speech, he revealed something to the crowd that the rally organizers had told him just moments before.

Trump said that he had been told there wasn’t time to start the rally with the national anthem, but he replied, “Yes, we do,” and proceeded to call the woman who was supposed to sing up on stage with him.

After introducing her, Trump stood aside as she took to the podium, placing his hand on his heart as she delivered a stirring a capella rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Trump could be seen mouthing the words as the woman sung the patriotic song, congratulating her on her amazing voice after she concluded.

The crowd obviously approved of his decision to make time for the national anthem, despite the event organizers trying to skip it in the interest of saving time.

I think we are all thinking after 8 years of this…

and this…

…it’s great to see that our next president, Donald Trump, who loves America, is going to be a lot more patriotic, know how to  place his hand over his heart, always make time for AND even sing the National Anthem! Just ONE of those signs from Obama would have been nice, don’t you think?
