After being shut out in WI, Kasich has Trump and Cruz right where he wants them.
Gov. Kasich must live in alternate universe different from the rest of us, where he ACTUALLY believes he has a shot at getting the Republican presidential nomination.
He believes his record of 1-30 in the nominating contests that have taken place thus far, gives him a snowballs chance of giving him the nomination.
Kasich campaign manager John Weaver sent out a memo explaining that Trump will probably not get to 1,237 delegates now, opening up the convention floor for a second-ballot Kasich power play.
This week will be remembered as the one in which Ted Cruz and Donald Trump both effectively admitted they will not reach the GOP Convention with enough bound delegates to be the nominee.
Tonight’s results will solidify the fact that no candidate will reach Cleveland with 1237 bound delegates. Heading into today, Ted Cruz was already mathematically eliminated, needing 102% of outstanding bound delegates. Donald Trump needs to win 2/3 of remaining bound delegates.
That is confirmed by our internal data, which shows Gov. Kasich running a close second to Trump throughout the eastern seaboard and leading in many critical Congressional Districts.
WHAT? What are you smoking? Hello, McFly…Anybody home? THINK McFly, Think!
John Kasich is CLEARLY dillusional. It is not even mathematically possible for him to qualify on the ballot, let alone have his name placed in nomination at the GOP Convention in Cleveland in July.
The governor needs professional help. Just ask Trump who said:
“Kasich shouldn’t be allowed to run. Look, under the grounds that Rand Paul could’ve stayed in, and he had nothing. Marco Rubio could’ve stayed in. Jeb Bush could’ve stayed in. They all could’ve stayed. They could’ve just stayed in. That’s all he’s doing. He’s 1-for-29. And the one thing that he won barely, and if I spent one more day in Ohio, I would’ve beaten him.”
Trump’s right. They could have all stayed in…but they didn’t. They knew they couldn’t win. They simply stopped running and got out. Kasich should get a clue.
