Ted Cruz said Sunday that the media is sitting on explosive negative information about Donald Trump with plans to run it later in the year to tear the candidate apart.
Does anyone seriously doubt that? I don’t.
If it’s Trump vs. Hillary, we lose the one thing we have in the fight: Hillary is a con, a liar, part of the corruption of power and an enabler of misogyny and humiliation toward women. By Rodney Lee Conover
Donald Trump is going to accuse Hillary of using government to their personal advantage when and if they debate? He’s going to talk of Bill and his women problem? He’d going to badmouth Hillary’s attempt to saddle the nation with socialized, single-payer medicine? Remember HillaryCare?
Reminds me a lot of 2012 when Barack Obama could have been hammered and beaten easily with the issue of ObamaCare.
It was and still is the best weapon in the hands of any Republican candidate anywhere – even against Democrats who had nothing to do with it.
But no, we nominated the only candidate who couldn’t say a word about ObamaCare – lest Mitt Romney be hammered with the fact that it was based on RomneyCare in Massachusettes. So we lost.
Donald Trump is in favor of Socialized medicine and said he favored a single-payer system in the first debate! Were you Trumpettes awake during that part?
Do you like your ObamaCare? No? Then vote Cruz you numbskulls – Trump wants government healthcare, although he changes positions quicker than a utility infielder.
Now we have Hillary: A lying, scheming, deal-making and corrupt insider who stood by while her redneck husband cheated on her, lied about it and humiliated their young daughter in public with his antics in the Oval Office with a young intern not much older than Chelsea.
Hillary and the Clinton Foundation is one of the largest scams in this nation’s history when it comes to selling influence – yet now we’re going to nominate someone who admittedly donated money to them? Someone who has been a part of the problem for his own personal gain for decades?
Finally, after years and years of complaining that we conservatives need a true conservative as the Republican nominee – we HAVE ONE! His name is Ted Cruz and we are about to blow it because of a blow hard?
You know why at the top of Trump towers it says; “TRUMP”?
… Because they didn’t have enough room to write “DOUCHEBAG”.
“I would love to take on Ted one on one,” Trump said last night. Yeah, right. Another falsehood. He needs Rubio and Kasich in the race – not too close – but in the race, especially in Florida and Ohio.
Trump is every rich, entitled frat boy I’ve ever been sickened by in my life. He’s a misogynistic, self-centered, greedy, lying, narcissist who is going to let his supporters DOWN HARD – trust me. I doubt he builds the wall and I know he will not get rid of the disaster of socialized medicine.
Trump may try and repeal ObamaCare, but he won’t rid this nation of socialized medicine. That’s for sure and his own words back it up. Unless he’s BS’ing about that too and it wouldn’t surprise me.
And before we get into this ridiculous discussion of endorsements, let me say of course Sarah Palin and the Duck Dynasty guy are endorsing Trump – they’re all nothing but Reality TV stars. Sorry, but it’s true. Don’t get me started.
Meantime, my guy Ted Cruz becomes the first candidate on the Republican side to get over 50% of the vote in a contest.
He crushed everybody in Kansas – including Donald Trump and if Ben Carson would have gotten out before the Texas vote, Cruz would have gotten 50% and ALL the Texas delegates.
And when it comes to the general election Cruz called out the media, saying one of the reasons they want Trump to be the eventual nominee is because they know he can’t beat Hillary: “Donald may be the only person on the face of the planet that Hillary Clinton can beat.”
Reminds me so much of 1996 when the Republicans picked the only person on the planet who couldn’t beat Bill Clinton. Bob Dole. Nice job GOP…
Of course Bob Dole, John McCain, Chris Christie and the rest of the establishment are backing Trump or Rubio – they KNOW Cruz is a man of his word and is looking out for conservative Americans.
“I think an awful lot of reporters — I can’t tell you how many media outlets I hear, you know, have this great exposé on Donald, on different aspects of his business dealings or his past, but they said, ‘You know what? We’re going to hold it to June or July,'” Cruz said on CBS’s “Face The Nation” Sunday.
“We’re not going to run it now.”
Cruz said the media has given the front-runner “hundreds of millions of dollars of free advertising.” Every press conference Trump has is shown on every television station, he said, noting the media helped create this “phenomenon.”
“And all of the attacks on Donald that the media is not talking about now, you’d better believe come September, October, November — if he were the nominee — every day on the nightly news would be taking Donald apart,” he said.
Next up, Florida: The Republican Establish may hate Donald Trump but they’re scared to death of Ted Cruz. At least the GOPestablishment knows Trump is pliable and willing to cut deals. Cruz will stand on principle and back the American people. Not good for establishment types and Republicans don’t like that Cruz does what he says he’s going to do.
My favorite part of the campaign so far? When Trump said to Ted Cruz that the Senator didn’t have a single friend in the Senate or Washington DC.
The Senator’s response: “Yep”
