Brussels Officials Cancel Protest Against ISIS: They’re Beaten

In the ultimate oxymoron, officials in Brussels canceled the “March Against Fear” because they are fearful of Muslim reprisal.  Hell of a job guys.

First, they want to have a march to show how Brussels and the country at large refused to be intimated by terrorism. You know a walk of solidarity, like in France with all the national leaders, except for Obama.

Well, now, it seems Brussels has changed their minds. Oops. What happened to standing together?

Here’s the Mayor of Brussels announcing the surrender of the city to Muslim terrorism.

That’s what Barack Obama would look like if he was white and spoke French.

Here’s what Brussels’ Interior Minister had to say earlier.

In an earlier statement, the organizers said the march planned for Sunday was meant to show that Brussels and the country at large refused to be intimidated by terrorism and that everyone stood together.

“This week, we, Belgian citizens have been attacked, in how we live, our customs, our rights, our liberty,” they said.

“The first reaction in such events is to withdraw but on reflection, fear must give way to hope and the defence of our values.”

Or not.

Face it, EuroWeenies are gutless cowards.  Sure, you can point to various police actions in both France and Brussels following the attacks by the invading Muslims.  You can even make the point that the French are being tougher than U.S. law enforcement would be.  You can, but I’d point out that isn’t saying much.

“Everyone stood together.”  It’s really more like everyone is kneeling together.

Islamic State militants stand behind what are said to be Ethiopian Christians along a beach in Wilayat Barqa, in this still image from an undated video made available on a social media website on April 19, 2015. The video purportedly made by Islamic State and posted on social media sites on Sunday appeared to show militants shooting and beheading about 30 Ethiopian Christians in Libya. Reuters was not able to verify the authenticity of the video but the killings resemble past violence carried out by Islamic State, an ultra-hardline group which has expanded its reach from strongholds in Iraq and Syria to conflict-ridden Libya. Libyan officials were not immediately available for comment. Ethiopia said it had not been able to verify whether the people shown in the video were its citizens. Let’s be clear.  The people who attacked Brussels and the people who attacked Paris are precisely the same people who Barack Obama and Paul Ryan are inviting to live next door to you.  Good luck with your new neighbors.
