Is Trump Right About Apple?

There’s a fight going on right now with Apple over the contents of a terrorist’s phone.  Donald Trump says they should break the phone.

As a matter of fact, the federal judge says Apple should crack the phone for the FBI. Apple is refusing. There are multiple layers of security on the phone and it’s encrypted. One of the features built into the iPhone is that the phones contents can be erased with unsuccessful attempts to open it. No one knows if the terrorist enables that security.

Apple has the ability to bypass the security and give the FBI the contents of the phone. This is important because the phone may, and probably does, contain links to other terrorists here in the U. S. This particular phone belongs to the Muslim butcher in San Bernardino.

Here’s Donald Trump on the subject.

Opening up this terrorist’s phone does not put Apple’s proprietary technology at risk.  Apple’s refusal to open the phone puts U.S. national security at risk.

What do you think?  Do you agree with Donald?  I do and it sounds like even the off-the-wall nutcases at MSNBC agree with him!
