Governor Chris Christie is reportedly suspending his campaign after a sixth place finish in New Hampshire.
There are some things the base just isn’t going to forgive.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is huddling with top aides Wednesday and is expected to formally suspend his 2016 presidential campaign, CNN reported.
CNN, citing two sources close to Mr. Christie, reported that “all indications” are that they expect him to end his bid for the Republican nomination, though details are still being worked out.
The biggest beneficiary to Christie’s exit will be Marco Rubio. Not that Marco will be getting any of Christie’s voters, but Marco won’t have to worry about another embarrassing take-down like he experienced in the last debate at the hands of Christie.
I think Christie should be on the short list for Attorney General in the next Republican administration.
