Debbie Wasserman Schultz Wants These Obstacles Between You and Your Decisions

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the head of the DNC, was the recipient of a softball interview with the NYT Magazine.  Here’s the first question and answer.

NYT: After the Bernie Sanders campaign improperly accessed voter data, the Democratic National Committee was swift with its punishment, suspending his campaign from having access to the database. How did you come up with that sanction?

DWS: Quite honestly, we are putting this behind us. The American people deserve an intelligent debate, and this isn’t one.

And the NYT reporter dropped a subject that’s dear to the hearts of Bernie Sanders supporters who happen to be their audience.  They just moved on to even more stupidity.

Here’s the money question and the answer tells you everything you need to know about Democrats and progressive women in general.

NYT: Do you notice a difference between young women and women our age in their excitement about Hillary Clinton? Is there a generational divide?

DWS: Here’s what I see: a complacency among the generation of young women whose entire lives have been lived after Roe v. Wade was decided.

Again, absolutely no follow-up.  The reporter simply moved on.  Not a peep about the fact that Americans oppose abortion according to CNN.

According to the poll, 27% say that abortion should be legal in all circumstances, 13% say it should be legal in most circumstances, 38% say that it should be legal in few circumstances, and 20% say abortion should always be illegal….Most Americans have never favored using public funds for abortions for women who cannot afford them. According to the survey, 56% remain opposed, with only 39% favoring public funding for abortions.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is on the progressive front line in the Democratic Party for whom abortion is their alter of worship.  She thinks women are complacent about the slaughter of innocents.  She also thinks that government should have significantly more say in everything today’s women do.  Because they’re “complacent.”

Maybe it’s time somebody started pointing out to women (and men) that government intrusion, especially at the federal level, has made a bloody mess of everything they’ve touched especially for the last seven years.
