“See Something, Say Something” indeed. Our government is now asking us Americans to “See something, Say something”, in recognition of the truth that our NSA, DHS, and police cannot possibly protect us all.
We recently learned that people on the Terrorist Watch List were working at the Paris Airport, as well as 73 working in airports here in the USA.
A Texas police chief has urged the citizens to arm themselves. He added that if President Obama tries to disarm Americans, it would cause a revolution.
The Brevard County Sheriff said that residents who legally carry firearms should be ready to respond to threats until the police can arrive. He added, “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. If you are a person who is legally licensed to carry a firearm, now is a time more than ever to realize that you and you alone very well might be the first line of defense for you [and]your family.”
The President of Liberty University urged people to get a permit to carry a concealed weapon on campus. He added, “Let’s teach them a lesson if they ever show up here.”
All this is happening while our Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, quickly said following the San Bernadino attack that she will prosecute those who engage in anti-Muslim speech, our First Amendment rights be darned. After all, President Obama did say “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction”. To our detriment, most Americans either did not hear him or did not take him at his word.
President Obama also announced that the “future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam”. If only he would equally condemn those who slander Christianity, or allow the killing of Christians just because they won’t follow Allah. Read more HERE:
Lynch told parents to contact the Department of Justice if their Muslim child is being bullied at school. She has no equal concern over Christians who are bullied. While she has tempered her words after the fact, we are still aware of the intimidation being committed by our own government, more concerned with the possible insulting of Muslims than with securing the safety of peace-loving Americans. They are more concerned with being PC than with using every means, including profiling, to keep us safe.
“See Something, Say Something”, we are told. Let’s just consider the possible consequences. When a school district reasonably thought that the “clock boy’s” clock looked enough like a bomb that they called authorities, it is they who are being investigated by the DOJ and being called racist. It is the boy who has visit with our President at the White House, has been given a college scholarship in Qatar, and is suing the school district.
Can they have it both ways? What’s an American to do? SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING! I was once asked if using mace is legal all over America. My response was that if I thought my life were being threatened, I would use the mace, if I had it, to save myself, and deal with the consequences later. Say! Did I just have a good idea? What would it look like if those of us who don’t want to carry a gun would carry mace instead? Shall we all carry mace, and use it when Jihad is being attempted, instead of just ducking and waiting to be killed? Might that be more effective than what some school students are told to do – throw cans of food at the shooter or terrorist, or hide under a bullet-proof blanket? See Something, Say Something!
