A love note, A 9 year old and Sexual Harassment??

Sexual harassment.  Here we are with another episode of putting your child in public school is child abuse.

A Florida fourth grader had a crush on one of the girls in his class.  He sent her a “love note.”  Is there anybody here that hasn’t done that?  Well, the school principal got her panties in a wad when this little boy’s classmates started teasing him about “wanting to see her naked.”  There was nothing in the note about that, and here’s the note.

15-1114 Sexual Harassment

[T]he principal proceeded to tell me [the boy’s mom]that it wasn’t appropriate that he was writing the note and that if he writes another note, they are going to file sexual harassment charges on my 9-year-old,” the mom said.

Hillsborough school district said the boy wrote more than one note and that the notes were unwanted, so that borders on harassment.

It even made the nightly news.

I can understand teachers not wanting notes passed in class.  When I was in fourth grade you’d get sent to the office for that because it was disruptive.  But “sexual harassment”?  Please.

If you’ve got kids, home school them.
