Ben Carson Threatens to Leave Republican Party if Establishment Does This:

No doubt, the GOP wants Jeb or Rubio or a combination of both. And no doubt they despise Donald Trump, Ted Crz, Dr. Ben Carson or any other conservative that doesn’t support their agenda of spending, Amnesty, crony Capitalism and lying to the American public.

Fact is, we don’t need a Third Party… we need a Second Party. Talk of a brokered convention to prevent Donald Trump or anyone else winning the nomination is a deal-breaker.

Carson says if the Republican Party tries to steal the nomination through parlor tricks – he’s out of there. I hope everyone follows:

Hat tip / The Hill:

Ben Carson is threatening to leave the GOP following a report that senior Republican officials met to discuss the party’s strategy in the event of a brokered convention.

“If the leaders of the Republican Party want to destroy the party, they should continue to hold meetings like the one described in the Washington Post this morning,” Carson said in a statement released by his campaign.

“If this was the beginning of a plan to subvert the will of the voters and replace it with the will of the political elite, I assure you Donald Trump will not be the only one leaving the party,” he continued.

Five unnamed sources told the Post that Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) attended a dinner on Monday with around 20 senior party officials to discuss the party’s convention strategy.

The sources said several longtime party members argued the establishment must lay the groundwork for a floor fight in the event that Donald Trump sweeps through the primaries.

But Priebus and McConnell reportedly remained silent throughout the deliberations, taking care not to signal support for an anti-Trump effort.

Carson said if the report is true, Republican voters are being “betrayed” by their party.

“I pray that the report in the Post this morning was incorrect,” he said in the statement. “If it is correct, every voter who is standing for change must know they are being betrayed. I won’t stand for it.”

For Trump’s part, he told the Post that his campaign is preparing for a contested convention:

“I don’t think it’s going to be a brokered convention. But if it is, I’d certainly go all the way — and I think I’d have a certain disadvantage,” he said.

“I’ll be disadvantaged,” he continued. “The deal-making, that’s my advantage. My disadvantage is that I’d be going up against guys who grew up with each other, who know each other intimately, and I don’t know who they are, OK? That’s a big disadvantage.”

I wouldn’t put anything past these Republicans. They’ve been lying and using the conservative vote and support to consolidate power for years now – all the while, meeting in private with bad intentions for everyone.

Game on.

We simply cannot defeat the Marxists in the Democrat Party until we get rid of the GOP establishment running interference for them.
