It seems as though Hillary has irritated some veterans. She made an appearance on Rachel Maddow’s show on
DNCTV MSNBC and was asked about the scandal at the Veterans Administration. Here’s what she had to say.
I don’t understand why we have such a problem,” Clinton said. But then instead of addressing how she would rid of the agency of its miles of red tape and backlog of cases, she claimed the problem wasn’t as bad as it’s made out.
“There have been a number of surveys of veterans, and overall, veterans who do get treated are satisfied with their treatment,” she said.
And of course, it was all the fault of Republicans blowing everything out of proportion.
Here’s what Hillary thinks is no big deal.
More than 300,000 American military veterans likely died while waiting for health care — and nearly twice as many are still waiting — according to a new Department of Veterans Affairs inspector general report.
The IG report says “serious” problems with enrollment data are making it impossible to determine exactly how many veterans are actively seeking health care from the VA, and how many were. For example, “data limitations” prevent investigators from determining how many now-deceased veterans applied for health care benefits or when.
Well, after all as many as seven VA employees may have been fired. None were prosecuted. Obviously not a big deal. And anyway,
