Annise Parker is at it again!
Houston Mayor Annise Parker’s new Prop 1 is a hoax.
Annise Parkers Bathroom Proposition is being touted as and looks like some a general Equal Rights Ordinance.
The Houston Mayor that demanded 5 pastors to give her all their sermon outlines, Annise Parker, was told by the Texas Supreme Court told that her bathroom ordinance was unconstitutional and to put it on the ballot.
So Annise Parker and Co. wrote Prop 1. They hid the bathroom part in a general civil rights Proposition… to con the Houston voters.
They knew if they put a proposition to allow men in girls bathrooms on the ballot they would get laughed out of the state.
They instead hid the Mayors previous ordinance within a larger generic and repetitive ordinance for the rights of women, racial minorities, the disabled, elderly and military personnel.
This is not a first as this is the tactic they started with.
In May of 2014 after significant controversy and re-arranging of language, Mayor Parker passed her bathroom provision in a nondiscrimination ordinance designed to hide it from Houston voters.
Also involved in the 2014 insanity was Mayor Annise Parker’s deciding that she would subpoena sermons from local preachers to discourage them from discussing the issue.
After a huge backlash that went national, Annise Parker was forced to withdraw the subpoenas. People from around the country mailed Bibles to her office.
The Texas Supreme Court then told Annise Parker in no uncertain terms to either repeal her or put it on the ballot for the people to decide.
“The legislative power reserved to the people of Houston is not being honored!”
“If the city council does not repeal the ordinance by August 24, 2015, then by that date the city council must order that the ordinance be put to popular vote during the November 2015 election.”
The court then suspended any enforcement of the ordinance.
Annise Parker and Co. then proceeded to place the bathroom provision into Proposition 1, labeled and sold as “just a general guarantee of civil rights.
Those opposed to the Proposition have been labeled racists and bigots because they do not think it is common sense to allow any male in a female bathroom and visa versa.
“No men in women’s bathrooms, no boys in girls’ showers or locker rooms!”
The baseball player stated, “This would violate [women’s] privacy and put them in harm’s way.”
