The ‘Today’ Show Censors Janelle Monae’s #BlackLivesMatter Message

Janelle Monae made an appearance on the ‘Today’ Show and started a song off with rant about #BlackLivesMatter. When the song went up on the website they had cut the rant. To which I say, Good for the Today Show.

Needless to say the #BlackLivesMatter “community” is in an uproar.

The responses to the tweet were just what you’d expect from people who think the likes of Michael Brown should be a hero.

What Monae said, that was cut, is this.

“Yes Lord! God bless America! God bless all the lost lives to police brutality. We want white America to know that we stand tall today. We want black America to know we stand tall today. We will not be silenced…”

Tell you what Janelle, when your tribal community starts giving a damn about the people in it others will too. Until then, not so much.

You’re “victims” all right, but the people who are making you victims look just like you.
