School District Bans All Flags Including the American Flag In One Tennessee County

While we’re not positive about the original intent of the school board in banning Old Glory, we’re pretty sure that the school board got the message that their constituents weren’t happy.

They now say they are not banning all flags at school, they are only banning flags from flying on the back of pick-up trucks on school property.

They’re not banning the Confederate flag. They’re not banning the Mexican flag. They’re banning all flags, including Old Glory. This school in Tennessee will toss you out of school if you bring an American flag on the property.

Needless to say many Tennessee families were not happy. As one student said,

“I just think that’s a right…it’s freedom of expression and I don’t think you should be able to take that away from us.”
