NBC Reporter Asks Trump If He Owns A Gun … oops.

For those who didn’t watch Donald Trump‘s lengthy interview with NBC’s Katy Tur The Republican candidate constantly chided and condescended to his interviewer, talked smack about his critics, and repeated all the same claims he’s made about Mexico over the past few weeks. Here’s Katy Tur, an NBC ‘reporter’ asking The Donald about guns.

Obviously Tur is pushing the Democrat’s party line on guns.

NBC: Stronger background checks. What about that? Is there any steps that you would take to make it harder to get a gun in this country.

“Stronger background checks.”

Let’s be clear. Democrats / gun grabbers don’t want “stronger background checks,” they want all guns confiscated. Here’s how to out them, it’s simple and unfortunately, politicians who support the 2nd Amendment don’t do it often enough.

Here’s what you do if you’re ever confronted by a “stronger background check” question.

“That’s an interesting question and I’m going to answer it with a question.

You’re obviously concerned about the so-called “mass shootings,” right? And the shootings in our inner cities, right? OK, let’s get specific.

Define the “stronger background check” you want, and tell me just how that check would have stopped any one of the shootings or the urban violence you’re concerned about.”

They can’t. Because no background check, or waiting period, would have stopped any of the things that the gun grabbers say they care about. They want your guns, period.

Here’s the gun-grabber-in-chief, Barack Obama, praising the Australian government’s response to a mass shooting.

The Australians confiscated EVERY gun in the nation and destroyed them. The result?

In 2006, assault rose 49.2 percent and robbery 6.2 percent.
Sexual assault — Australia’s equivalent term for rape — increased 29.9 percent.

Overall, Australia’s violent crime rate rose 42.2 percent.

So violent crime skyrocketed, but how about the murder rate. That must have gone down in an Australia without guns, right?

Moreover, Australia and the United States — where no gun-ban exists — both experienced similar decreases in murder rates:

Between 1995 and 2007, Australia saw a 31.9 percent decrease; without a gun ban, America’s rate dropped 31.7 percent.

In other words, yes, Australia’s murder rate dropped after the gun ban. In the US, where guns are legal, we experienced the same drop in murder rates. How about violent crime in the US? Did that go up as it did Down Under?

At the same time, U.S. violent crime decreased 31.8 percent: rape dropped 19.2 percent; robbery decreased 33.2 percent; aggravated assault dropped 32.2 percent.

Australian women are now raped over three times as often as American women.

Gun control isn’t about guns, it’s about control. And it’s long past time that we should be pointing out these stats and noting that gun control is just another branch of the Democrats War on Women.

So, when you hear Obama and his friends calling for “stronger background checks” remember, they don’t care about background checks and they know they won’t make a difference. It’s just the first step to hearing a knock on the door and finding a local cop standing there with a warrant demanding your guns.
