BREAKING: Ammunition Depot at US Army Base in Japan Blows Up – TERRORISM??


Just after midnight local time, an ammunition storage facility at a US Army base near Tokyo blew up.

At this point it’s not known what started the explosion, but officials said it could be terrorist related .

The Wall Street Journal reported that a spokesman for police in Kanagawa Prefecture said two steel pipes were found planted in the ground with electric cables in the camp.

Japanese terrorist expert Michael Penn, who heads up Tokyo-based news agency Shingetsu News, said it is “plausible” the explosions have a similar explanation.

The warehouse was in a deserted are of the base and no injuries have been reported.
