Thought Trump’s Remarks Would Kill Him in the polls? Think Again
Trump, love him or hate him, is a pretty likable guy.
At least, according to the polls, he is.
The thing is that Trump may not be President anytime soon, but he is a guy that speaks his mind.
He uses honesty and apologizes for nothing.
America is thirsty for this type of fearless leader, and right now, we may just get it- and that might not be such a bad thing.
From Western Journalism:
In a Monmouth University poll released Monday which surveyed Iowa GOP caucus goers, Trump is second with 13 percent, trailing only Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker with 22 percent. Following Walker and Trump are retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson with 8 percent; former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, both with 7 percent; former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee with 6 percent; Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul with 5 percent; and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal with 4 percent.
The 2012 winner of the Iowa caucus, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, is tied for tenth place with Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former Hewlett Packard executive Carly Fiorina with 3 percent. Huckabee won the caucus in 2008.
The poll was conducted between July 16-19 from a random sample of 452 Iowa voters from a list of registered Republican voters who have voted in at least one of the last two Republican primaries. Saturday, July 18, was when Trump made disheartening remarks about McCain’s service while participating in a forum in Ames, Iowa, hosted by pollster Frank Luntz:
He’s not a war hero. He is a war hero. He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured, OK? I hate to tell you. He’s a war hero because he was captured.
Again, Trump will NEVER be known for his tact, but who really wants tact in business? America CAN be great again. We just need to stop hurting her and allow the business to run. Trump, win or lose, has the right message, and it is time to listen, America.
