Camille Paglia, the political and cultural critic, professor, feminist icon and respected author had some interesting things to say about Bill Clinton and why he’s a lot like Bill Cosby.
Lest you think this is more Hillary hit-piece fodder from the “vast right-wing conspiracy;” Camille Paglia is a lifelong liberal Democrat, lesbian, uber-feminist and brilliant independent thinker, writer and philosopher. I’m not kidding – this is a chick who thinks for herself and wouldn’t mind a bit that I just called her a chick.
Have you guys seen the New York magazine cover above with pics and stories of 35 women who say they were raped or assaulted by Bill Cosby? Where was the media when Bill Clinton was accused of the same things? Oh yeah… carrying water for him. My bad.
Think Bill Clinton’s alleged assaults, lying and serial cheating would be viewed more like Cosby’s if he was running for President now? Hah! Think again… Why, you ask?
The difference is that Cosby has been outspoken about what’s wrong with kids, the culture and the black community in general. Saying things that if put into practice, would eventually cause black folks to stop voting for the liberal’s Party who have done nothing but, as Sir Charles says; “.. give the black man an inferiority complex.”
Bill Clinton, on the other hand, empathizes with women, he feels their pain – especially if he’s groping their naughty bits or whipping it out and asking for a smooch for Little Willie. I don’t know about the cigars, but President Bill Clinton having an intern close to his daughter’s age service him under the Oval Office desk? That’s just…. Oh crap – forgot – he’s a pro-choice Democrat, don’t ya know?
So of course Clinton is giving the big speeches at the Dem Convention, raising money and being praised as the greatest ever by liberals fighting the war on women**. What side he’s on – that’s another question.
**NOTE: In the “War on Women” Ted Kennedy still has the only confirmed kill”.
Here’s an interesting quote from the interview (excerpted):
PAGLIA: “I say there is a big parallel between Bill Cosby and Bill Clinton! Young feminists need to understand that this abusive behavior by powerful men signifies their sense that female power is much bigger than they are! These two people, Clinton and Cosby, are emotionally infantile–they’re engaged in a war with female power. It has something to do with their early sense of being smothered by female power–and this pathetic, abusive and criminal behavior is the result of their sense of inadequacy.”
There is so much more it’s not fair to you – so click thru and read the interview. We’re not afraid!!! We are the army of conservatives who can admit when someone on the other side of the aisle is spot on. And Camille Paglia NAILS BILL CLINTON !!
— hey there’s a change for ‘ya Bill!
