Timeline: Robert F. Kennedy, Sirhan Sirhan, Bill Ayers, and Barack Obama


47 years ago today, on June 5, 1968: Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated by Palestinian terrorist Sirhan Sirhan.

44 years ago, on March 1, 1971, Bill Ayers participated in a terrorist bombing of the United States Capitol Building in Washington, DC.

43 years ago, on May 19, 1972, Bill Ayers bombed the Pentagon. He later wrote about it:

Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon. The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them.

41 years ago, while on the lam in 1974, Bill Ayers co-wrote a terrorist manifesto, which they dedicated to people they termed “political prisoners,” including Sirhan Sirhan, the Palestinian terrorist who murdered RFK.

20 years ago, in 1995, Barack Obama launched his political career in terrorist Bill Ayers’ living room.

14 years ago, on April 2, 2001, Barack Obama accepted a campaign donation from terrorist Bill Ayers.

10 years ago, on July 4, 2005, Barack Obama attended a barbecue at terrorist Bill Ayers’ home.
