Ferguson, MO put up a memorial to a dead thug, Michael Brown. It perfectly symbolizes the plight of inner-city blacks under Democrat control. It used to be you worked your way out of the ghetto, now ghetto dwellers are being paid to stay there with the modern welfare liberal plantation.
Facts: Michael Brown was a two-bit thug. He robbed a convenience store and attacked a police officer. In the course of the attack on the officer he tried to take the officer’s gun. He ran away, the officer gave chase, Brown turned and rushed him, the officer shot him in self-defense.
Those are the facts.
Following Brown’s death, the media jumped on the story and framed it as “unarmed black youth killed by white cop.” The ensuing riots, abetted by Barack Obama and Eric Holder, burned out part of the Ferguson business district.
Here’s the memorial that’s being enshrined by these misguided fools in Ferguson. And Washington.
“I would like the memor of Michael Brown to be a happy one. He left an afterglow of smiles when life done.”
Well, OK. Those punks probably are smiling.
“He leaves an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy and loving times and bright and sunny days.”
Sure he did. Tell that to this store clerk.
Michael Brown was a thug. After attacking the Ferguson police officer and trying to take his gun, Brown got exactly the justice he deserved. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
This pile of trash was the first “memorial” put up for Brown.
It was set afire. The resulting burned heap would have been a more appropriate “memorial.” Why? Because Brown was trash.
After that episode, a tree was planted in the Ferguson park in his memory. It received appropriate treatment.
We did feel bad for the tree.
This newest “memorial” is an overt demonstration why the “black community” is in the state they’re in, and why they won’t be upgrading anytime in the near future. They choose to honor punks and thugs. Rappers. Punks like Michael Brown. Felons like Freddie Gray. Thugs like Trayvon Martin. And they turn their backs on accomplished people like Ben Carson, Clarence Thomas, and Thomas Sowell.
As Ted Nugent noted in a recent open letter to college graduates:
Tell me who you go with and I will tell you what you are. Avoid losers for they will drag you down.
The black community has Harvard graduates who haven’t figured that one out. And they’re not likely to figure it out anytime soon. Everybody is too busy enabling their thug behavior and not letting them be accountable for choosing to fail.
