[PICTURES] Awesome Dyed Sheep on Display in Scotland

Just to make folks smile, one farmer in Scotland has decided to brighten up the dreary commute with his beautiful, colorful sheep. It’s not a lack of caffeine – yes, that is a rainbow sheep, and the cute idea has caught on like wildfire in Scotland. Check out the photos of these animals- I think they like the attention and know they are looking sharp!

If you have driven on the M8 in Scotland lately and seen red and blue sheep grazing on the fields, be sure that it’s not a hallucination. Scottish farmer Andrew Jack is the one that has started to paint his sheep in bright red and blue colors to “spice things up” so people could smile on their way to and from work. They are sprayed with animal-friendly paint, something they don’t mind at all, and they will remain colorful until sheared. It all started when the farmer wanted to paint them blue to mark St Andrew’s Day, but now that it has become an attraction in itself, the thought of using other colors as pink has crossed the farmers mind.

Amazing, isn’t it? Wouldn’t this be cool to see instead of just plain white sheep every day on your way to work? The animals are NEVER harmed, and these cool sheep seem to be pretty chill about the styling. I look forward to being lucky enough one day to travel to Scotland to see these cool sheep, but until then, I will just have to hope it catches on in America.
