Americans opposed to diplomatic resolution with Iran?

Obama’s lie of the day: Obama speaking to Iranians, “And there are people, in both our countries and beyond, who oppose a diplomatic resolution.”

This is Obama’s lie of the day, insinuating that we prefer war.  This statement is infuriating, stupid, deceptive and dangerous!  Most Americans actually prefer diplomatic resolutions to war.  What we do oppose is a naive or evil negotiation with those who have not once abided by any treaty they have signed, who cannot be trusted, and who will continue to work on building a nuclear bomb which they will use against us.  We object to Obama’s “agreement”, instead of a Treaty which must be ratified by 2/3 of our Congress. And most of all, we object to any agreement which simply postpones their nuclear bomb for ten years.

President OBama: “Hello! To everyone celebrating Nowruz—across the United States and in countries around the world—Nowruz Mubarak.  We even created our own Haft Seen, representing our hopes for the new year.”  The haft seen is a table which includes seven items, all starting with the Persian letter sīn (س).  Nowruz was also celebrated in our White House.

He continued: “As I have said many times before, I believe that our countries should be able to resolve this issue peacefully, with diplomacy. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has issued a fatwa against the development of nuclear weapons, and President Rouhani has said that Iran would never develop a nuclear weapon”.

Are you, Barack Obama, saying that if they said it, we can believe it?  Muslims have as part of their religion the encouragement to lie if it helps them reach their goals.  President Obama has said he will “fundamentally transform” America.  That statement is true.  He has also said his administration would be most transparent in history, yet he hides this negotiation from Congress while sharing it with Iranians.

He continued: “In this sense, Iran’s leaders have a choice between two paths. If they cannot agree to a reasonable deal, they will keep Iran on the path it’s on today—a path that has isolated Iran, and the Iranian people, from so much of the world, caused so much hardship for Iranian families, and deprived so many young Iranians of the jobs and opportunities they deserve”.

What wonderful words.  What soaring rhetoric.  If only it could work.  What an untrustworthy, dangerous regime.  Obama actually thinks the Iranian leaders care about the Iranian people?  If “the people” petitioned their leaders as he suggests, they could be imprisoned or killed.

Our President, just to be inclusive and to prove he is with them in his heart, ended his speech with a sentence uttered in perfect Arabic, learned no doubt during his four years living in Indonesia.
