Illegals Under Amnesty Get Up to $35,000 From IRS

Here Comes April 15th. Are You Getting a Tax Refund? Guess Who Will??

April 15th is right around the corner. Are you expecting a tax refund? How about an earned income tax credit? Or child tax credit? Or do you make too much money to qualify for those tax credits?

Barack Obama and the Democrats, along with several willing accomplices in the Republican Party (John McCain are you listening?) Have thrown the door open to millions of low skilled, low income illegal aliens from Mexico and Central America. Guess who programs like the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Tax Credit are aimed at?

If you guessed low income families with kids, you’re right.

Think about that. A family that has been in the US illegally, breaking the law, for five years could get a check from the IRS for up to $35,000. And that’s after having paid zero taxes over that same time. And, if someone in that family was working, they were likely using someone else’s Social Security number. If we did that it would be a felony. It’s called identity theft.A few senators seem to be outraged over this giveaway. Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Ben Sasse of Nebraska are calling this “an amnesty bonus.”

“This is basic economics: if you want more of something, you subsidize it. By subsidizing illegal entry with four years’ worth of new tax credits, the IRS would promote lawlessness.  This program severely undermines the White House’s lip-service to enforcing the law and would increase the burden on law-abiding taxpayers.”

By now it should be obvious to anyone with two brain cells (are you listening John McCain?) that the whole point of the Obama amnesty program is to transfer income from hard-working US citizens to low income, low skilled, lawbreakers.

Will the leadership in the Senate stand with the leadership in the house and refused to fund Obama’s illegal amnesty program?

Or will they do is John McCain suggested this week, “Pass a clean DHS Bill and let the courts deal with Obama.”

Unfortunately we’re pretty sure we know the answer.
