Kirby Delauter, an elected member of the county council in Frederick County, Maryland, told a reporter that she could not use his name. Was he asleep when they taught the First Amendment?

As Joe Newby reports in the Examiner.com,

“”So let me be clear,” he apparently wrote on Facebook, “do not contact me and do not use my name or reference me in an unauthorized form in the future.” Delauter, it seems, was upset with the coverage he received from Bethany Rodgers, a reporter with the Frederick News-Post.

Mr. Delauter needs to find a different career.

This nation was founded on this insane concept that our government officials are held accountable and that the press is a part of that design.

It was done that way on purpose. How dare this elected official even think such a thing let alone act upon it.

Red Skelton said in his infamous Pledge of Allegiance monologue, that it was,  “From the people to the leaders, not the leaders to the people!”

When are politicians going to get the concept that they are the servants and we are the masters, not the other way around?

Council Member: In our country, newspapers are actually allowed to write about elected officials (and others) without their permission.  You would think these guys would learn..

In the aftermath of his grave mistake. Twitchy, Powerline, and a number of other outlets are covering the story.

The story raged on Twitter and other social media. His phone rang off the hook and his email is full.

In a similar showing of political arrogance, on Saturday, Maria Chappelle-Nadal, a Democrat serving in the Missouri state Senate whose district includes Ferguson, issued what many took to be a racist threat against white people on her Twitter feed:

“LET ME BE CLEAR,” she screamed on Twitter. “When you exercise your #WhitePrivilege, don’t think I’m not going to remember. I will use it for the future. Uncomfortable?”

Democrat state Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal issues racist threat to voters on Twitter.

Her message SOMEHOW eluded local media outlets, has a lot of folks angry and wondering what’s going on with this politico and a willing media?

Legislation she is sponsoring would, if passed into law, narrow the instances when police officers may use deadly force. Her proposal would also require the state attorney general to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate deaths or injuries caused by police.

She says America has failed.  All while using Che Guevara as her Twitter background!

America has definitely failed her..
