Eric Holder Agrees – Michael Brown Was a Punk and a Thug

Maybe not in those exact words, but that’s what it comes down to.

The bottom line has always been Michael Brown robbed a convenience store and assaulted the owner.  Shortly after that he assaulted a cop and tried to take his gun.  He ran away and then turned and charged at the cop who killed him in self defense.  The City of Ferguson and the State of Missouri are both better for that final shot that saved officer Darren Wilson’s life and remove a thug from the streets.

So where did we get our headline?  From the New York Times…

As has been rumored for months, the US Department of Justice, that would be Eric Holder, couldn’t pin a thing on the Ferguson police officer who shot Brown.  You may be wondering why over 100 DoJ Civil Rights Division attorneys and the dozens of FBI agents couldn’t find something to charge Wilson with.  The answer to that really is two choices.

Column A: NYT Column B: Reality
Civil rights charges have a “high bar”
Brown was a thug & it was a good shoot

We will allow that Column “A” is true.  Civil rights charges do have a high bar for charges.  The real problem, however, is that the evidence supports Column “B” and it happens to be overwhelming.

It’s so overwhelming, in fact, that a number of the “witnesses” who initially testified that Brown was shot in the back or that he had his hands up admitted they didn’t see the incident happen.  Others have been proven to be lying.

There’s also the pesky problem of half a dozen black witnesses who testified that events supported officer Wilson’s account of what happened.

And then there’s the physical evidence.

Justice Department lawyers will recommend that no civil rights charges be brought against the police officer who fatally shot an unarmed teenager in Ferguson, Mo., after an F.B.I. investigation found no evidence to support charges, law enforcement officials said Wednesday.

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. and his civil rights chief, Vanita Gupta, will have the final say on whether the Justice Department will close the case against the officer, Darren Wilson. But it would be unusual for them to overrule the prosecutors on the case, who are still working on a legal memo explaining their recommendation.

In other words, the prosecutors are straining the English language to cover their butts.  We suspect they’re having some problems noting the truth, Michael Brown got his justice.

When they get done dismissing this case maybe they’ll get around to dismissing the case against George Zimmerman.  Trayvon Martin, the thug, gangsta wannabe shot in self defense by Zimmerman got his justice too.
