Campaign Season Attacks and Blame!

0 148

As Paul Ryan stated, Hope and Change has become Attack and Blame.  Here is a little history which should help us prepare for the current election season.  Long before this President was running for reelection, those on the far Left have preferred name-calling, lying and the blame game, attack ads and hateful speech to an actual debate of the real issues. This will not change in 2015 and 2016.

Campaign season attacks and blame: do you need to be reminded?  Joe Biden in 2012 told his black audience that Republicans will “put y’all back in chains”.

Attack and blame: during the President George W. Bush years, the Left refused to condemn the movie “Death of a President” wherein President Bush was assassinated.  Silence from the Left greeted the NAACP ad showing a black man being dragged in chains behind a truck, intimating that George Bush condones lynchings. Another ad claimed that if Bush were reelected, more black churches would burn.

Attacks and blame come from the media as well.  MSNBC attacked in 2012 when it ran a news segment about Mitt Romney’s campaign bus, asking “what could go wrong?”  They then showed the bus repeatedly blowing up.

Who thinks that is funny?  The Left pays no attention to Barack Obama’s call for our “national debate to be conducted in a way that heals, not in a way that wounds.”  Why should they, when he pays no attention to it himself?

Campaign attacks and blame: Nancy Pelosi, the former Speaker of the House, blessed Republicans, saying they want to “pollute our air, water and food”, calling them the “E Coli group, also calling the House’s tea party Republicans “legislative arsonists”.  The Tea Party and other conservatives simply want to uphold the Constitution, balance our budget, pay off our debts and promote free market enterprise.

Campaign attack and blame: during Obamacare negotiations, our President accused doctors of cutting off limbs and taking out tonsils just to make more money.  Republicans were accused of having no concern for those with autism.

While demanding “acceptance” from everyone, they practice hatred and destruction against those with other views.  HBO’s hit show “Game of Thrones” depicted the decapitated head of President George W. Bush on a stake. Joy Bahar of The View said she would like to see Mitt Romney’s house burning down.

There is no condemnation of the charge made by Senate leader Harry Reid that Romney may be a felon for not having filed tax returns for 10 years, even while saying he had no proof,  that it is up to Romney to prove him wrong. The New York Times declared that the story is untrue, but there was no apology. Even Bill Clinton’s pal Lanny Davis said, “You have vicious people who are working for the President.”

A thug at a voting place in 2010 threatened to bang the head of a poll watcher on the floor for checking someone’s ID.  Those on the left were on the Internet calling for Governor Walker’s assassination.  The New Black Panthers have vowed, with no complaint from our President, to put their feet on the  f….ing Republicans’ necks at the 2012 National Convention.

During the 2013 shutdown of our government one park ranger divulged to the Washington Times, “We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can.  It’s disgusting.”  WWII vets were denied the permission to visit before their deaths an open air WWII Memorial, paid for entirely with private funds, while illegal aliens were not only allowed to protest on the Mall, but platforms were allowed to be built to improve their day.

Attack and blame, coming from our vindictive President: while campaigning for immigration reform he said, “We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us.”  How Presidential is that?  “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said at a Philadelphia fundraiser.

We must be prepared for the Democrat machine, led by the values of one Barack Obama, to systematically try to bring down every Republican candidate, for that is what they do.
