There is a press conference scheduled for about nine minutes from now, at 5:30CST, by Governor Jay Nixon of Missouri. We’re not sure what he’s going to say, but it will likely be a plea for peace after the 8:00pm announcement of the Ferguson Grand Jury Decision.
It’s likely that Officer Darren Wilson will not be indicted for shooting Michael Brown in Ferguson on August 6th. We are expecting the Grand Jury to find that Brown’s death resulted from a “good shoot” and was self defense.
Here’s what’s going to happen.
A Missouri Democratic State Senator who also happens to be a school board member went on record this afternoon noting that there have been curriculum changes in the area and that students have been taught how to protest.
Note that there is no discussion about students being taught how the law works, the grand jury process, or being urged to accept the grand jury’s decision.
