There is a debate about why illegal alien children – and young adult gang members – who are flooding over the southern US border are coming to the US. The Obama administration insists they’re coming because they’re refugees fleeing violence in Central American countries. That’s not a position that either the “children” who’ve been interviewed or the leaders of their home countries agree with.
Here’s what the President of Honduras had to say.
It is a matter that arises, we believe, from the lack of clarity … the ambiguity .. that has become the hallmark of the policies and the debates that are being carried on the question of immigration reform here in the United States.
“Ambiguity.” That word perfectly describes the Obama administration’s position on illegal immigration and illegal aliens. It perfectly describes the Obama administration’s position of pretty much everything, but illegal immigration is the topic du jour so we’ll stick with that.
It has long been argued that it’s President Obama’s policies that are bringing these illegal aliens here. His administration spokesweasels have cited his speeches where he’s said the kiddies will be deported as hard evidence that those of us who believe he’s welcoming illegals with open arms as proof positive that we’re just anti-immigration, anti-Obama, racists. Let’s see what the kiddies have to say.
Border Patrol agents in the most heavily-trafficked area of the surge, the Rio Grande Valley sector of Texas, recently questioned 230 illegal immigrants about why they came. The results showed overwhelmingly that the immigrants, including those classified as UACs, or unaccompanied children, were motivated by the belief that they would be allowed to stay in the United States — and not by conditions in their homelands.
Who’d a thunk it?
On the ambiguity front, we’ve got reports on how the kiddies are being handled. Remember, the President said, If you like your health care plan you can keep your plan illegal alien children would be sent home.
Eighteen out of 20 illegal immigrant children failed to appear in court for their immigration hearings in Texas on Tuesday, Dallas News reported.
On average, 46 percent of minors fail to appear to their immigration trails.
Add to that the fact that the government is working hard to relocate the kiddies to the interior of the country, you can bet they’re going to “lose track” of them and in just a few years the demand will be to grant them amnesty because they’ve suddenly become DREAMERS.
This is not a “humanitarian crisis” as the President and his anti-American flacks would have you believe. It’s a crisis of lawlessness, and the perp in question is the President and every member of his party, along with people like John McCain and Jeff Flake.
