I read where Eric Cantor has big plans to to “Rebrand” the GOP after that confusing beat down of 2012?
You know, the one right after 2010 where the Tea Party swept the Republicans back into the House majority, reacting to having the national nightmare of ObamaCare forced on Americans against their will?
Well there’s good news and bad news for House Majority “Leader” Cantor: The good news is that roughly half of Americans are thrilled with his plans for the GOP. The bad news? Those people are known as ‘Democrats.’ Let me give you a few quotes from Eric Cantor regarding his vision of a new and improved Republican Party along with some Captain Obvious:
On Immigration Reform:
Cantor: “We must balance respect for the rule of law and respect for those waiting to enter this country legally, with care for people and families, most of whom just want to make a better life, and contribute to America.”
Captain Obvious? Here comes Amnesty.
Cantor: … taxpayers “shouldn’t need a worksheet to know how many dependents you have.”
Captain Obvious? Expect more shenanigans like raising “fees” instead of raising “taxes” so (Republican) Congressman can lie to their constituents about not raising taxes. Paul Ryan: That was some big time BS.
Cantor: “The Republicans have put together serious detailed counter-proposals when we have objected to this administration’s agenda..”
Captain Obvious? Do you think he’s mad at me? Did he text back? Check again..
Cantor: “We have a plan that creates universal access programs at the state level which allows folks to access insurance if they’re denied by their insurer..”
Captain Obvious? If we can just keep ObamaCare around, we can win some more elections!
On Doing Battle with Barack Obama:
Cantor: “The House Republican Majority stands ready for President Obama and his party to finally join us in our efforts to tackle the big problems facing America..”
Captain Obvious? Here comes Amnesty.
Honestly, I can’t take this guy. Allowing Eric Cantor to rebrand the Republican Party is like letting the BLM rebrand Cliven Bundy’s cattle.
This is the guy who took a hush-hush meeting with the “Main Street Republican Partnership” – you’ve heard of these traitors, right? They’re a Super-PAC of “Republicans” run by a smug and greedy former Ohio Congressman and left-winger Republican, Steve LaTourette. He’s now making a mint for he and his family with a goal to, as he stated on MSNBC, “destroy the Tea Party.”
The first weekend in April, Republican leaders in the House and Senate got together with these miscreants that make up the “Main Street Republican Partnership” on Florida’s Amelia Island. A little retreat featuring Cantor, his establishment Republicans and leftist-supported advocacy groups. And they plotted away…
Their shared interests include muzzling, demolishing and demonizing conservatives, Christians, Tea Party candidates, Constitutionalists, grassroots activists, Second Amendment Supporters, Anti-Amnesty advocates and Good American voters like you and I. The Tea Party brand is to be sullied, cursed, damaged beyond repair and the conservative movement halted so passing legislative items on the Left’s agenda can move FORWARD.
Is it any wonder that Lois Lerner isn’t doing life for multiple counts of felony Civil Rights violations – she’s done everyone’s dirty work? Take the Fifth. Hell, drink a fifth, baby!
The confab was hosted at the Ritz Carlton and thinly veiled by the Republican Main Street Partnership’s offshoot “Main Street Advocacy.” Boehner was scheduled to be there, but folks like Michelle Malkin and Mark Levin got wind of it and he let Cantor handle it. Too bad, I bet Johnny would have loved to work on his tan organically for a few days in between bumming menthol’s off of Ritz Carlton staff. Can someone tell him Jersey Shore got canceled and orange is out?
Just how left-wing is LaTourette?
The scumrat was ready to drop the word “Republican” from the Republican Main Street Partnership and accept Democrats directly into the fold at one point, but backed off when it became more profitable to put up this facade for establishment Republicans.
But look at the funding for this “Republican” SUPER-PAC: Laborers’ Political League Education Fund, International Union of Operating Engineers, Laborers’ International Union Of North America – and the list goes on with Big Labor, DNC donors, Social Justice Lefties, etc. George Soros connected money even makes it’s way into the coffers of the GOP’s new pals.
Yeah – Eric Cantor is rebranding the Republican Party, all right… First item on the list?
Updating the opposition from Democrats, liberals, leftists and Marxists and replacing them with: You.
