Non-union Wal-Mart health plan cheaper, better than Obamacare

wal-mart2At least for now, before the delayed-employer mandate kicks in later this year.

For now, the much-demonized-by-liberal-Democrats, non-union, Big Business, Arkansas-based firm offers more coverage for a lower price that do Obamacare-subsidized, Healthcare.gov-bought plans:

New Obamacare health insurance enrollees may feel a pang of envy when they eye the coverage plans offered by Walmart to its employees.

For many years, the giant discount retailer has been the target of unions and liberal activists who have harshly criticized the company’s health careplans, calling them “notorious for failing to provide health benefits” and “substandard.”

But a Washington Examiner comparison of the two health insurance programs found that Walmart’s plan is more affordable and provides significantly better access to high-quality medical care than Obamacare.

Independent insurance agents affiliated with the National Association of Health Underwriters and health policy experts compared the two at the request of the Examiner.

Amazing how a firm set-upon by government regulators, Democrat-demonizers and militant labor unions; but still in right-to-work-state free markets can provide healthcare insurance to employees more economically than more government-regulated, run and unionized entities.

The best tactic in any war on poverty is free market capitalism as originally fostered by the U.S. Constitution that President Barack and the Democrats regularly burden and illegally violate.

Meanwhile, Healthcare.gov still the has the same old problems as it did in 2013 and new problems for 2014:

To use the liberal Democrats’ favorite paradigm, the Wal-Mart obviously “cares” more than Obama’s government.
