So is HealthCare.gov fixed? Not bloody likely…
Yesterday, President Barack Obama was too busy fixing HealthCare.gov to attend the 150th anniversary commemoration of of the Gettysburg Address, delivered by the other president from Illinois:
Barack Obama adviser Dan Pfeiffer says the president won’t be attending the Gettysburg address anniversary today because the “whole website thing.” He appears to be talking about the ongoing problems with the Obamacare website, Healthcare.gov.
Pfeiffer made the comments today in a Twitter exchange with a couple reporters.
Actually, Ronald Reagan is the only chief executive to have been born there, but Ulysses S. Grant and Abraham Lincoln both resided there when they were elected president of the United States.
But apparently, the website is now fixed since Obama is traveling today to visit the President John F. Kennedy’s grave an the Eternal Flame at Arlington Cemetery.
The President never made it to to Gettysburg and is two days early for Friday’s 50th anniversary of the assassination of the last pro-growth, tax-cutting, defense hawk Democrat. Everything must be on his schedule, I presume. And about that website fix…we wait…
