They didn’t read it, they didn’t click once to see who wrote it and those who did, didn’t get it. Another day in the left-wing world of online hysteria..
So an African-American writer pens a blog on how it used to be okay to criticize the president without fear of being called a racist. You could be any race, any creed, any ethnicity and say whatever bugged you about the policies of whoever was president and right or wrong, at least people wouldn’t call you a racist. Why would they? Then along came the first black President, Barack Obama, who was supposed to bring us all together and prove that electing an African-American to the highest office in the land would show we really were all trying to get along. Wrong.
Kevin Jackson, a brilliant writer and highly sought-after speaker (pssst: did I mention he’s black??) points out in the article that now, any criticism of the policies of Barack Obama is met regularly with cries of racism, without regard to anything having to do with skin color. In other words, the first black president has made it racist to criticize the president. Got it? Now throw in some sarcasm and add the headline, “America Needs a White Republican President” and you have the perfect storm for the liberal crowd of knee-jerk jerks..
Except one problem: Jackson is African-American. What to do? Well, leave it to me, Joe “The Plumber” Wurzlebacher, to make the assist in letting the libs look stupid. I posted half of Kevin’s terrific article, linked to his full story at TheBlackSphere.net and BLAM! The crazies everywhere did there thing, including our friends at The Huffington Post. Wow! Check it out (and read Kevin’s article – it is good):
“Wanting a white Republican president doesn’t make you racist, it just makes you American,” Wurzelbacher wrote on his website Oct. 10.
Wurzelbacher referred to the time before President Barack Obama was elected president as the “pre-black president era,” saying at that time, criticizing the president “meant that you didn’t like his policies.”
“The election of a recognized black president was not supposed to change anything. In fact, it was supposed to (1) ease any perceived racial tensions, and (2) allow the government to focus on legislating without race. So America would be more free than ever to discuss the issues,” Wurzelbacher wrote. “Not the case. And that is why having a white Republican president is best for the country.”
Wurzelbacher questions why nobody accused black people of racism “when blacks had sanity and disagreed with the policies of racist white Democrat presidents.” He also brings Mexicans into his argument, saying “many deranged Mexicans” who fight for immigration rights “are not called racist.”
“Mexicans disagreed with most white Republican presidents over America’s immigration policy. Many deranged Mexicans believe we should open the country up to them, some saying that much of America belongs to Mexico anyway. They are not called racists,” Wurzelbacher writes.
Wurzelbacher has made inflammatory comments about immigration before. In August 2012, when he was running for office, he suggested America “put a damn fence on the border going to Mexico and start shooting.”
Wait – does that link there mean you have to click to see the original story? Dopes. Hey – I think I hear a dog whistle – gotta go!
