_45667307_bbchilary512In her effort to show how easy it is to purchase a horribly evil AR-15 here in the US, a BBC reporter, Hilary Andersson, set about violating several things, not the least of which was Federal Law covering the private sales and purchases of firearms [18 U.S.C. 922(a)(3) and (5), 922(b)(3), 27 CFR 478.29 and 478.30]. Private party to private party sales are legal, so long as both involved parties are RESIDENTS of the same state, and neither are legally prevented from owning firearms.

Andersson was born in Texas, and thus she is a US citizen, there is no arguing that. However, according to her LinkedIn profile, she lists her residence as London, UK – LinkedIn Profile. Since she lives in London, she is most definitely NOT a US resident, nor is she a Texas resident.

Here is her story on the BBC website (BBC Website) where she not only documents her illegal firearms purchase, but where they also document them violating rules of the gun show by filming inside after being specifically told they could not.

What is with the Brits and their need to involve themselves in our politics, down to their disdain for our firearms rights? I thought we already threw them out of this country once for trying to impose their will upon us?
