The Dallas Cowboys Quarterback, Dak Prescott made it clear that he will NOT protest the national anthem and demolished the mantra of Colin Kaepernick in the process!

Colin Kaepernick believes that America sucks! Dak Prescott understands that he is blessed! Simple difference!

Prescott was interviewed by senior producer at Yahoo Sports, Evan Doherty.

Doherty asked Prescott if he “felt the need” to participate in any sort of protest this year. Prescott answered with four epic words that will have a lot of people cheering.

“No, not at all,” Prescott stated boldly.

Doherty, clearly not satisfied with that answer, asked him to elaborate further.

“I mean, it’s bigger than I think some of us think,” Prescott explained. “It’s just important for me to go out there, hand over my heart, represent our country, and just be thankful, and not take anything I’ve been given and my freedom for granted.”

The Cowboys, from the top down, have stayed far away from the stupid antics Kaepernick did last year that had major repercussions on his team as well as the entire NFL.

The DallasNews reports:

Last week, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that he his “strongly” against the idea of protesting the national anthem.

“I just feel so strongly that the act of recognizing the flag is a salute to our country and all of the people that have sacrificed so that we can have the liberties we have,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan. “I feel very strongly that everyone should save that moment for the recognition of the flag in a positive way, so I like the way the Cowboys do it.”

But Cowboys running back Darren McFadden told NBC Sports’ Newy Scruggs that Jones has never ordered the team to act a certain way during the anthem.

“He hasn’t come in and said that to us personally,” McFadden said last week.

Earlier this month, Cowboys coach Jason Garrett also commented on anthem protests, saying,

“There’s no question in my mind. The national anthem is sacred. The flag is sacred. And our team has demonstrated that.”

Wide receiver Dez Bryant has also taken to Twitter and the media concerning his views on anthem protests after ESPN’s Jemele Hill publicly criticized him. From SportsDay’s David Moore:

The Cowboys receiver wants everyone to know he’s not critical of players who choose to protest by refusing to stand for the anthem. At the same time, Bryant doesn’t want to be judged for his choice to stand or be labeled as an athlete who doesn’t care about social issues.

He swears he does. In Bryant’s words, this is about following a more positive path that he’s convinced is the only way to arrive at “real peace.”

Things are very different between Texas and California. The patriotic mentality is striking. You will never find the Cowboys complaining how unfair life is. That is really all that Kaepernick is doing.

While, Kaepernick had a right to protest, he did it on his employers time. He caused chaos.

Not only was he wrong in thinking there is some systematic racism in our law enforcement, he was wrong in using the NFL to blast his message.

Now it looks like he will never play again. No one wants him.

But I guarantee that even if he does play, his game will never be the same. You cannot start the game, with negative thoughts. It will get you every time.

Buh Bye Kaepernick!
