Ravens coach John Harbaugh has offered disgraced quarterback Colin Kaepernick a job and the fans have made it very clear that they are not happy!
Mike Silver of NFL Media reports that the Ravens “have heard from numerous fans regarding Kaepernick in the last couple of days, many staunchly opposed to his signing.”
Harbaugh had brought up the signing Colin Kaepernick to help offset the team’s rapidly depleted quarterback depth chart.
Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun notes that Harbaugh said it all “depends on what Kaepernick wants to do.” Harbaugh also said that the Ravens have been talking to Kaepernick throughout the summer.
Harbaugh said signing Kaepernick depends on what Kaepernick wants to do. Ravens are interested. They're planning on bringing in another QB

It did not take long at all for the fans to express outrage! Mike Silver of NFL Media tweeted:
The Ravens have heard from numerous fans regarding Kaepernick in the last couple of days, many staunchly opposed to his signing…

Twitter alone was full of disgust at the proposition of bringing the anti-American, cop-hating, national anthem disrespecting Kaepernick to Baltimore!
No Anti American Racist in Baltimore

No…No..No…No..GOD…NOOOOOOOOO! One fan creatively tweeted:

No!!!!!! No kapernick!!!!
— Catherine K Austin (@CatherineKAust1) July 28, 2017
It was very clear why the fans were not at all happy with the choice of Kaepernick. His anti-American antics:
Anti American tried using NFL AS RACISM forum dont need a player no team wantseven as a backup his agent is on TV begging for owners to sign

The opposition continued and continued:
why would we want to sign someone who brings trouble with them? We want to stay at a higher standard!
— Cletus Wynchester (@CWynchester) July 27, 2017
That would be a mistake

Giants co-owner John Mara already has provided all anti-Kaepernick fans with the blueprint for shouting down a potential Kaepernick signing. Giants fans were clear on how they felt about Kaepernick and his antics.
“All my years being in the league, I never received more emotional mail from people than I did about that issue,” Mara said in May. “If any of your players ever do that, we are never coming to another Giants game. It wasn’t one or two letters. It was a lot. It’s an emotional, emotional issue for a lot of people, moreso than any other issue I’ve run into.”
Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco likes the idea of Kaepernick joining the Baltimore Ravens, as long as he is not a starter! LOL!
“I would like to see Colin get back in [the NFL]and, at some point, maybe get another shot [to be a starter],” said Flacco, who hasn’t spoken to Kaepernick about it. “I wouldn’t like that to be here. I do not want him to get another shot [to be a starter]here, but yes, he can come here and have some fun. I think it would be a good spot for him.”
UPDATE: The Ravens signed quarterback David Olson, formerly of the Kansas City Phantoms (Champions Indoor Football League), NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Kaepernick has not been ruled out, but it’s getting tighter.
Kaepernick has remained unemployed for three reasons:
First, some teams genuinely believe that he can’t play.
Second, some teams fear the backlash from fans after getting him.
Third, the rest genuinely hate him and can’t stand what he did [kneeling for the National Anthem]. They want nothing to do with him and they won’t move on. They think showing no interest is a form of punishment. I think some teams also want to use Kaepernick as a cautionary tale to stop other players in the future from doing what he did!
He has created a mess, not only for his own career, but for the NFL. But his actions had a significant impact on his playing ability as well. This is the important part that Kaepernick just does not get:
I taught sales for years. In fact, I advised the government of the small country of Grenada on the subject. The first place you start is the beginning of the day. A sales manager that starts the day with an exciting and upbeat message can double sales. A sales manager who begins the day with negative remarks will ALWAYS destroy the numbers for the day. ALWAYS folks!
When Kaepernick started his games on a negative note, he doomed himself. Every time. When he was supposed to be thinking about how thankful he was for this great country that had afforded him the achievements that he enjoyed, he was instead focused on anger. He was never going to be great again. It was a given.
Colin Kaepernick, you blew it! I think you have seen the end of what could have been a productive career…You hate what this country stands for? Well, you just lost what this country stands for!… Opportunity!
It wasn’t even a real protest. It was a lazy 3-minute antic and a 1-minute tweet! Hope it was worth it Colin!
